Devin Cole succeeds Amy Tu as Tyson International president

Having worked for Tyson Foods from 1995 to 2014, he has returned to the company after stints with Keystone Foods and George’s.

Devin Cole was introduced as the new president of Tyson Foods’ International business segment.

During a quarterly earnings call on August 5, Tyson Foods CEO Donnie King pointed out that Cole, a former employee of Tyson Foods, rejoined the company in March as the head of Tyson’s McDonald’s business. But with the recent retirement of Amy Tu as the president of International operations, Cole had another title added.

“Since we got together last (the previous earnings call on May 6), Amy has decided to retire,” said King. “I just want to say that we miss her and thank her for her many contributions to the company. We wish Amy and her husband, Christian, well, but we have Devin in the seat now, and we look forward to continuing exceptional things as it relates to the international (business).”

About Devin Cole

Cole, according to his LinkedIn profile, was employed By Tyson Foods from 1995 through 2014 as a group vice president before being named chief commercial officer, a position he held through most of 2014.

He later spent six months as the president of Keystone Foods U.S.. He departed there in 2016, about two years before Tyson acquired Keystone Foods.

Cole then spent about seven years with George’s Inc., first as the chief strategy and commercial officer, and later as the chief operating officer.

Tu first joined Tyson Foods in December 2017 as executive vice president and general counsel.

Then, in September 2022, she was named president of Tyson’s International business and chief administrative officer.

Prior to joining Tyson Foods, Tu was chief council for global law affairs for Boeing.
