Resource Agribusiness Group to grow overseas sales

Russia’s largest poultry company has its sights set on increasing exports to Asia and Middle East.

Resource Agribusiness Group, Russia’s largest poultry meat producer and exporter and one of the country’s largest food producers, is aiming to boost its exports following the signing of a cooperation agreement with FESCO Transport Group.

Asia focus

Together, the two companies will expand export deliveries to China, Southeast Asian countries, India and the United Arab Emirates.

Resource, which produced 459.1 million broilers last year, is thought to be the sixth largest poultry producer in Europe. Its agreement with FESCO, which will work on developing optimal transport and logistics solutions, covers meat and poultry products, along with vegetable oils.

Commenting on the agreement, Dmitry Antonov, Senior Vice President, Director of External Relations and GR with Resource, said: “The signing of the agreement is an important step for the development of Russian food supplies to world markets."
