Protect The Harvest presents new update

New website and logo revealed.

Protect The Harvest, the 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2011 by Forrest and Charlotte Lucas, has undergone a significant transformation for 2024. The organization's evolution is reflected in a fresh logo, a new tagline–A Free and Fed America, and an enhanced website at www.protecttheharvest.com.

Founder Forrest Lucas highlighted the restructuring efforts undertaken in 2022 and 2023 to align with current societal challenges. The updated website aims for improved content, functionality and user-friendliness, while the tagline succinctly communicates its mission.

Dr. Mike Siemens, executive director, emphasized the importance of projecting the right image and acknowledged the partnership with Results & Co., an Australian website design firm. This collaboration was crucial after some U.S. firms declined due to ideological differences.

Protect The Harvest is committed to addressing issues such as food security, property rights, animal welfare and outdoor freedoms. The organization actively monitors various challenges, including regulatory proposals, laws impacting food production and assaults on personal liberties.

Siemens highlighted its advocacy efforts, citing involvement in the California Proposition 12 case. The organization aims to be a leading voice against government overreach impacting farmers and consumers.

"Our goal is to be the go-to advocacy voice for farmers, ranchers, property owners, consumers, and other stakeholders," declared Siemens, emphasizing the team's expertise and resolve. The rebranding aligns with its mission to educate consumers on food production and support those under attack by various groups.

Protect The Harvest sees the rebrand as timely, offering a unique opportunity to communicate its focus, mission and dedication to the public in today's challenging atmosphere.
