NPFDA recognizes outstanding contributors

The organization held an awards ceremony at the end of January.

The National Protein and Food Distributors Association (NPFDA) recognized outstanding achievements at its awards reception during the Annual Protein Convention at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Jan 31.

Jeff Paschall, VP of sales and marketing at Fieldale Farms, Baldwin, GA, received the NPFDA Member of the Year Award. Jim Perdue, chairman of Perdue Farms, Salisbury, MD, was honored with the NPFDA Protein Industry Lifetime Achievement Award.

Paschall, a key player at Fieldale Farms for over 30 years, is praised for his commitment to NPFDA and his contributions to the chicken industry. Fieldale Farms President, Tom Hensley, lauds Paschall's proactive approach, calling him the company's Most Valuable Player.

Jim Perdue, the third-generation leader of Perdue Farms, is recognized for his transformative leadership. Under his guidance, the company achieved milestones in workplace safety, no-antibiotics-ever protocols and animal welfare initiatives.

NPFDA Board Chair Laurie Pate congratulates Paschall and Perdue for their remarkable contributions to the protein industry.
