Royal Pas Reform's technologies chosen for new hatchery

Silverlands has chosen SmartHatchPro hatchers for its new facility.

Silverlands, a prominent integrated farming and poultry business in Tanzania, has chosen Royal Pas Reform's cutting-edge technologies for its new hatchery operation in Arusha. This facility, situated in the northeastern city renowned as the safari capital of Tanzania, is poised to have a production capacity of 7.3 million day-old chicks annually.

Silverlands, already a leading producer of day-old chicks, embarked on this hatchery project with the installation of six SmartSetPro 4 setters and 4 SmartHatchPro hatchers, complemented by a comprehensive climate control system. The hatchery integrates SmartCenterPro for seamless process control and data management.

Adriaen Sligcher, Pas Reform’s sales director in Southern Africa, praised the collaboration, stating, "We were very grateful for the guidance of Royal Pas Reform’s Stewart Bradnick and his team, which resulted in a first-class hatchery project. Without doubt, we will see a further extension in the near future."
