USPOULTRY and its foundation have approved $414,000 in research grants for five institutions through its Comprehensive Research Program. This funding, approved by both organizations' boards of directors, stems from recommendations by the Foundation Research Advisory Committee.
Since the program's inception in the 1960s, over $36 million has been reinvested into the industry. The latest grants cover various poultry research areas, including vaccine efficacy, nutrition, disease detection technology and welfare improvement methods.
