Perstorp earns recognition

Company wins award for its sustainability efforts.

Leading global specialty chemicals innovator, Perstorp, a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), has been awarded a platinum medal for sustainability by EcoVadis, placing the company among the top one percent of businesses assessed globally.

Perstorp demonstrated progress across all four key areas of the EcoVadis evaluation: environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, reinforcing the company’s commitment to long-term sustainability.

Anna Berggren, vice president sustainability at Perstorp, remarked, “It is encouraging to see that our systematic approach to sustainability, with our 2030 corporate targets and actionable roadmaps, is delivering results. With focus, dedication, and a large portion of courage, we can overcome the chemical industry's sustainability challenges.”

EcoVadis, one of the largest and most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, assesses over 130,000 companies globally, evaluating how well a company integrates Sustainability/CSR principles into its business. Perstorp’s recognition underscores its leadership in sustainable transformation within the chemical industry.
