Cargill provides aid for flood relief

The company is donating chicken to northern Thailand flood victims.

Cargill has provided significant support to communities affected by the severe floods in Northern Thailand by donating 2,150 kg of ready-to-cook, high-quality chicken, contributing to more than 20,000 meals for the flood victims. This relief effort, facilitated through local organizations including Friends in Need, Volunteers Foundation, the Thai Red Cross and The Mirror Foundation, aims to ensure affected families have access to safe and nutritious food during the crisis.

Watcharapon Prasopkiatpoka, managing director of Cargill Protein Southeast Asia, expressed Cargill’s commitment to assisting communities during this challenging time, as continuous heavy rains have worsened the flooding and limited food access. The company hopes its contribution will provide much-needed relief to those most impacted by the disaster
