The Animal Agriculture Alliance, a 501(c) (3) non-profit dedicated to protecting the future of animal agriculture, has announced its participation in Giving Tuesday on December 3, 2024. This global day of giving is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to unite in supporting causes that matter.
From now until Giving Tuesday, the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association will match donations up to $100,000, doubling the impact of contributions. Funds raised will help the Alliance advance its mission to ensure the future availability of meat, dairy, poultry, eggs and seafood.
Supporting a Vital Mission
The Alliance plays a critical role in:
- Monitoring animal rights extremism to protect farmers and food security
- Empowering advocates with the tools to educate and connect with consumers
- Bridging the gap between farm and fork, uniting farmers, ranchers, processors, veterinarians and food industry stakeholders
“Without the support of our members, donors, and sponsors, the Animal Agriculture Alliance would not be able to carry out our critical work to bridge the gap between farm and fork,” said Hannah Thompson-Weeman, president and CEO of the Alliance. “Every donation makes a difference, and this Giving Tuesday, your support will go twice as far thanks to U.S. Poultry & Egg Association’s generosity.”
Supporters can contribute through the Alliance’s donation page, with all donations eligible for a tax deduction. Contributions will help the Alliance combat misinformation, engage with food chain influencers and promote consumer choice by highlighting modern agricultural practices.
