Culver's Thank You Farmers Project has reached a significant milestone, surpassing $6.5 million in donations since its inception in 2013. In 2024 alone, the project raised a record-breaking $1.5 million through various fundraising initiatives, with generous contributions from Culver's guests. The project's goal is to support agricultural education and climate-smart initiatives by partnering with organizations like the National FFA Organization and U.S. Farmers and Ranchers in Action (USFRA), as well as benefiting local agricultural efforts in communities where Culver’s operates.
Notable fundraising events in 2024 included:
- Scoops of Thanks Day: Raised $169,457 in donations for local FFA chapters and agricultural education
- Concretes for a Cause: Culver's donated $1 from each Concrete Mixer sold over five days, contributing $517,825 to hunger relief efforts
- FFA Ambassadors Program: 380 FFA members were nominated, with nine winners earning up to $2,500 for their chapters
- To Farmers With Love Contest: 1,421 farmers were nominated, with thirty winners receiving cash prizes, Culver’s gift cards and donations to its local FFA chapters
The Thank You Farmers Project also focuses on advancing climate-smart agricultural practices and supporting future agricultural leaders through scholarships and educational programs.
