NH Foods announces the signing of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement with Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF), Thailand's largest food company and one of Asia’s leading comprehensive food businesses. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance corporate value for both NH Foods and CPF while driving mutual growth in the food industry across Asia.
CPF is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, and led by CEO Prasit Boondoungprasert. The company operates across the agriculture, industry and food sectors, specializing in livestock, aquaculture and food processing. Known for its commitment to high-quality products, environmental sustainability and social responsibility, CPF holds a significant market presence throughout Asia.
The agreement leverages NH Foods' expertise in meat and processed foods with CPF's robust management resources and networks in Asia. Together, both companies aim to strengthen their positions in the Asian food market through the following initiatives:
Collaborative Opportunities in Food Processing
Focusing on Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kon, and other regions, the collaboration will include:
- Joint Procurement and Development: Collaborative sourcing of raw materials and co-development of food processing products in Thailand
- Expansion via CPF Channels: Utilizing CPF's sales channels in Asia to distribute products from Thai Nippon Foods (TNF), NH Foods’ subsidiary in Thailand
- Export Opportunities: Exporting NH Foods' food processing products from Japan to Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and other markets
- Import Opportunities: Importing CPF's food processing products from Thailand for distribution in Japan
Both companies will collaborate on the sale, development and manufacturing of beef and beef-based processed products in the Chinese market, leveraging CPF’s poultry expertise and NH Foods’ protein innovation capabilities.
