BRF, a global leader in the food industry and the company behind renowned brands such as Sadia, Perdigão and Qualy, has been named one of the top five companies in the “Publicly Traded Company” category at the Abrasca Annual Report Awards 2024. The accolade underscores BRF's commitment to corporate governance excellence and transparent reporting practices.
The Abrasca Annual Report Awards, hosted by the Brazilian Association of Public Companies (Abrasca) in collaboration with B3, honor organizations that excel in clarity, transparency and quality of information in their annual reports. The awards aim to encourage companies to produce reports that effectively communicate their identity and institutional priorities.
BRF's achievement was driven by the BRF Integrated Report, a comprehensive document that highlights the company's business performance and integrates its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. The report emphasizes transparency and demonstrates the company’s strategic focus on sustainability and governance.
“We adopted the integrated reporting model in 2019 and have continuously improved our processes to enhance governance,” said Mayara Jungles, sustainability manager at BRF. “This important recognition from Abrasca shows us that we are on the right track.”
