Vital Farms announces leadership expansions

Two senior execs receive promotions to help achieve the company's goal of achieving $1 billion in annual net revenue by 2027.

Vital Farms has expanded leadership roles for two senior executives to support its target of achieving $1 billion in annual net revenue by 2027.

  • Pete Pappas: Promoted to chief sales officer and president, Eggs. He will oversee the company’s eggs business, including its network of 425+ family farms, while continuing to lead sales operations. Pappas, with over 30 years of experience, joined Vital Farms in 2020 and has significantly scaled its sales team.

  • Kathryn McKeon: Elevated to chief marketing officer and general manager, Butter. McKeon, Vital Farms’ longest-serving marketing leader, has been pivotal in growing the brand since joining in 2016. She will now lead the butter business while retaining her marketing leadership role.

CEO Russell Diez-Canseco praised both leaders for their contributions and emphasized their roles in driving growth and advancing Vital Farms' mission to bring ethical food to the table.
