Texas Chicken, the international brand of quick service restaurant chain Church’s Texas Chicken, will soon be leaving Thailand.

According to The Nation, Texas Chicken announced the decision on social media.

“It’s time to say goodbye to Texas Chicken after nine years of delicious memory. But don’t be sad as we will part with smiles and happiness. Let’s create the final memory together by filling yourselves and having fun before this legend ends,” the chain’s post read.

There are nearly 100 Texas Chicken locations in the Asian country, although the number of restaurants there had been in a small decline.

Texas Chicken has been operating in Thailand with franchise partner PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (PTTOR).

Founded in San Antonio, Texas, in 1952 by George W. Church Sr., Church’s Texas Chicken has more than 1,500 locations in 23 countries and global markets and system-wide sales of more than $1.4 billion.
