Mickey Baugher has been named the chief executive officer of Allen Harim Foods, effective November 9, 2020.
Baugher, a poultry industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including growout, production, sales, marketing, finance and human resources.
He brings a wealth of knowledge, particularly in live operations and production, the company said in a press release.
Before joining Allen Harim, Baugher served as president of Plainville Farms, a turkey producer headquartered in New Oxford, Pennsylvania. Prior to serving in that presidential role, Baugher was vice president of operations for Hain Pure Protein (HPP), a former subsidiary of Plainville’s previous parent company, Hain Celestial. In that role, according to his LinkedIn profile, Baugher was responsible for live operations and plant operations for three of HPP’s complexes that produced the HPP brands Plainville Farms, FreeBird and Empire Kosher Poultry.
He also held leadership roles for Pilgrim’s Pride, Perdue Farms, Coastal Processing and VPGC LLC.

Allen Harim formed in 2011 when South Korean poultry company Harim Group acquired Allen Family Foods. Presently, Allen Harim is the 19th largest broiler company in the United States, having processed 8.05 million pounds of ready-to-cook chicken on a weekly basis in 2019.
Baugher holds a bachelor of science degree in Poultry Science from Virginia Tech and a MBA from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Teresa, will relocate to Delaware.
Joe Moran previously served as the Allen Harim CEO, having been named to that position in 2016, having earlier served as executive director and a member of the company’s leadership council.
