On July 29th, USDA FSIS published its long-anticipated Salmonella framework initiating a 60-day commentary period. Although discussions on new regulations have been ongoing for almost two years, the prospect of new mandates, the inclusion of specific adulterants, and the chance of incurring over $32.2 million in extra financial obligations were unexpected for many. Join us to hear from a panel of industry experts to further elaborate on the proposed framework, discuss major industry concerns ranging from product lotting to spoilage prevention under test-and-hold protocols, and share the innovative solutions that integrators have been working on in response.
Featured speakers include Arjun Ganesan, CEO at Ancera; Dr. Charles Hofacre, Professor Emeritus, University of Georgia; President, Southern Poultry Research Group (SPGR); and Bill D. Potter, Ph.D., Food Safety and Processing Extension Specialist and Poultry Federation Chair in Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas.
This webinar will broadcast at 10:00 AM CDT (Chicago) / 3:00 PM BST (London) / 10:00 PM CST (Beijing).
