Nutreco proudly announces the appointment of Eduardo Lopes Alberto as CEO of Trouw Nutrition and Bastiaan van Tilburg as CEO of Skretting, effective June 1, 2024. Alberto succeeds David Blakemore, who will assume the role of Nutreco CEO, while van Tilburg replaces Therese Log Bergjord.
Eduardo Lopes Alberto, previously vice president of global innovation and research at Trouw Nutrition, brings a wealth of experience from DSM-Firmenich and Elanco Animal Health, with a doctor of veterinary medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista and an MBA from the University of São Paulo.
Bastiaan van Tilburg, currently managing director for Europe & Central Asia at Nutreco, has an extensive background at SHV's Makro and Royal Dutch Shell, with academic credentials from the University of Groningen.

Pieter Bastiaanssen, currently managing director of Nutreco Middle East and Africa, will succeed van Tilburg. Both Alberto and Van Tilburg will join the Nutreco management board.
