A unique new web portal, commissioned by the British Egg Industry Council (BEIC) and developed by NSF Agriculture, will revolutionize the audit process for subscribers to the egg quality scheme British Lion Code, its developers say.
The portal gives subscribers access to an easy-to-use dashboard allowing them to see real-time audit data about their sites and to access and respond instantly to information relating to when audits are due, and audit outcomes.
Any non-compliance raised can be rectified through the portal. Subscribers submit corrective evidence using an automatically generated email pre-populated with the site information to which the corrective evidence can be attached and sent straight to NSF.
Other features include monitoring when audits are due; responding to non-compliance, if applicable; information gathering of top non-compliances raised, if applicable; and live audit data.
