FIAAP Animal Nutrition Conference explores AGP alternatives

The 7th edition of the FIAAP Animal Nutrition Conference offers research focused on feed additive and ingredient solutions for replacing antibiotic growth promoters.

Reflecting the global interest in the elimination of antibiotics for growth promotion (AGPs) in livestock production, half of the presentations slated for the 2016 FIAAP Animal Nutrition Conference will focus on feed additive and ingredient solutions for supplementing and reducing the use of AGPs in animal feed formulations.

To generate leading-edge research submissions, WATT Global Media, the organizer of the 7th edition of event, issued a “call for papers” during the summer of 2015. The presentations were selected from dozens of abstracts submitted by feed industry researchers, suppliers and academia.

In addition to the 10 technical sessions, Feed International’s editor Jackie Roembke will offer an exclusive “sneak peek” unveiling of the 2016 World Feed Panorama report, the magazine’s annual analysis of global compound feed production.

The FIAAP Animal Nutrition Conference will be held at the BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 29, 2016. The one-day conference is co-located with the VICTAM Asia exhibition.
