MULTIVAC receives the 2015 Hormel Foods Spirit of Excellence Award
MULTIVAC receives this award for the 12th time in 13 years and this marks the 11th consecutive year MULTIVAC has received the Spirit of Excellence Award
MULTIVAC, Inc. is proud to have received the 2015 Spirit of Excellence Award from Hormel Food Corporation. This prestigious award is given to select Hormel Food Corporation suppliers in recognition of their role in the continuous improvement process throughout the previous year, as determined by a collaboration of the Hormel Management Team from all facilities.
“The Hormel Foods Spirit of Excellence Award program recognizes the suppliers that truly go above and beyond in helping us continually improve our products and services,” said Tyler L. Hulsebus, Director of Purchasing at Hormel Foods. “We’re honored to partner with these outstanding suppliers.”
Suppliers receiving the Spirit of Excellence Award are scored on criteria such as product performance, on-time deliveries and providing high-level customer support. This is the 12th time MULTIVAC has received this award in 13 years, and marks the 11th consecutive year.
“Receiving this award is a tremendous honor for MULTIVAC. It recognizes the partnership between our two companies and the desire we both have to keep ‘raising the bar’ in terms of packaging machinery and great customer support provided by our Associates day in day out in Technical Service, Spare parts, Logistics, Training and every other aspect of our customer service program,” said Jim Campbell, CEO of MULTIVAC. “We are very thankful to Hormel Foods Corporation for their business and their recognition. We look forward to many more years of partnership between our companies.”
MULTIVAC continues to develop new products and services that meet the changing needs of the packaging industry. In the past two years, regional sales offices have been opened in California and New Jersey to bring sales coverage and service closer to the customer. Another regional office is scheduled to open in North Carolina in the summer of 2016. Additionally, the US headquarters is currently renovating the offices and factory in Kansas City to include a 32,000 square-foot addition. This allows MULTIVAC to further expand upon manufacturing capabilities. The renovation will include a new, state-of-the-art innovation and demonstration area, allowing customers to have hands-on experience with new and emerging MULTIVAC equipment, as well as serving as a training facility for new and returning customers.
