Hein van der Steen

Dutch-born geneticist Dr. Hein van der Steen (e-mail: hein.vandersteen@stonebridgeg.com) is former research director of a large international pig breeding group. This year, he has become chief executive of a new company in Canada called BT-Guelph that has been started to deliver boar taint markers for breeders to use in marker-assisted selection.
