Industry body The International Egg Commission (IEC) has now opened its application process for the 2024-2025 Young Egg Leaders (YEL) program, a global initiative to support the next generation of egg business leaders.
The two-year program is designed for successful individuals within egg producing and processing companies on a clear trajectory to a senior leadership position, and aims to develop, inspire, and equip this next generation of leaders, while supporting the growth of the industry.
Participants benefit from exclusive industry visits and unmatched networking opportunities, with collaboration and growth at the heart of the program.
Top grade
Admission to the program is selective and candidates will need to prove their professional achievements, proven trajectory and personal credentials and motivation. Current participants hail from Canada, Germany, India, Nigeria, Ukraine, the U.K., and the U.S.
The next round of successful candidates will begin the YEL program in April 2024, ahead of the IEC Business Conference, which will take place in Edinburgh Scotland.
Incoming YELs will be able to shape and influence their own program, allowing them to gain the most from the experience. The program can be completed in parallel with their current roles, with activities and experiences coinciding with the two IEC conferences, usually held in April and September each year.
