Nedap ESF sow feeding station in its version 2.3 includes a camera mounted over the trough position, to give live remote monitoring of the residents in the gestation yard. The system issues an automatic alert, such as by email, of any abnormal event. The supervisor therefore can look immediately at the live image on the office computer screen to see what problem has occurred.
