Animal protein processor JBS USA has entered into an agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to strengthen the company's legal workforce.
The Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers program, IMAGE, helps employers to develop policies to reduce immigration compliance vulnerabilities. Currently employing more than 60,000 employees in the U.S., the company hopes the new agreement will aid its efforts in fighting undocumented workers' efforts to obtain employment using fraudulent documents or identity theft, while ensuring a stable environment for American workers.
