Moy Park names two general managers

Moy Park has promoted David Halliday and Andrea Carver to general manager positions at facilities in the U.K. Halliday has been named general manager at its Anwick site, while Carver will be the general manager at the Grantham site.

Moy Park has promoted David Halliday and Andrea Carver to general manager positions at facilities in the U.K. Halliday has been named general manager at its Anwick site, while Carver will be the general manager at the Grantham site.

David Halliday

As general manager, Anwick, Halliday has been promoted to lead and manage activity across Moy Park’s Anwick site to deliver the highest standards of service and quality for customers. Working closely with the director of operations, Halliday will take a pivotal role in ensuring best in class performance to maximize operational effectiveness.

Halliday previously held the position of continuous improvement manager at Moy Park Anwick and interim factory manager at the company’s Anwick and Grantham sites. He has also held management positions across the FMCG sector with a particular focus on food production.

Halliday holds a bachelor of engineering (BEng) in manufacturing engineering & management from University of Strathclyde and has key management qualifications including Suiko Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Andrea Carver

Carver’s role as general manager, Grantham, will see her lead efforts with the director of operations to deliver best in class operational and managerial effectiveness at Moy Park’s Grantham site. In her promotion to this senior position, Carver has a key role in developing strategic decision making and planning at Moy Park Grantham.

With over 10 years’ experience at Moy Park, Carver has a strong track record in operational and technical management and was most recently factory manager at Moy Park Grantham, before taking on the role of general manager.

She holds a bachelor of science (Bsc) in food science & manufacture from University of Lincoln and has completed Advance Leadership Training at Henley Business School.
