Annual Egg Industry Top Companies survey
The Egg Industry 2019 Top Companies survey identified more than 60 egg producers whose flocks totaled 337.88 million hens housed on December 31, 2018. This is based on information submitted by companies surveyed and estimates by WATT's editorial team.
As part of the 2019 Egg Industry magazine Top Egg Companies Survey, U.S. egg producers predicted that more than 40 percent of hens will be raised in cage-free housing by 2025.
