Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health has received marketing authorization from the European Commission for a single-shot vaccination schedule of its Porcilis vaccine against porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) infections. The new approval allows vaccination with one dose of 2 milliliters in pigs three weeks of age or older in the case of low to medium levels of maternal antibodies against PCV2.
