Envirologix located in Portland, Maine has developed QuickTox kits for DON, fumonisin and aflatoxin. Qualitative results can be obtained using a reader or simply reviewing the pattern of bands on the test strips. The advantage of the reader is that results can be transferred to an electronic database for retention and traceability. Envirologix also produces test kits to detect GMO grains for positive control in mills operating in accordance with the National Organic Program.
