Cargill Neopigg Shield is a 3-stage feeding concept after weaning for piglets until the weight of 25-30kg. Neopigg Shield contains a highly digestible protein. The piglet’s growth potential will be utilized without overloading the hind gut with undigested protein.
Neopigg Shield was developed by Cargill in response to the growing concern about the use of antibiotics and therapeutic zinc reliance within piglet rearing. Through increasing gut health in the early life stage the 3-stage feeding concept, Neopigg Shield, can reduce the reliance on the use of antibiotics and therapeutic zinc, whilst maintaining growth performance throughout the piglet’s life.
