Pfizer Animal Health offers the Fostera PRRS vaccine to fight porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome respiratory disease in growing pigs. According to Pfizer, the vaccine reduced lung lesions by 84 percent and reduced overall respiratory clinical signs by 80 percent in studies, and it improved average daily gain by 2.5 times compared to pigs in the placebo group.
