Neogen NeoSEEK meat species identification service

The Neogen NeoSEEK meat species identification service detects adulteration in horse, pig, poultry, beef or sheep meat. The NeoSEEK identification uses a DNA-based assay with PCR technology to deliver quantitative results of adulteration in test samples. Both cooked and raw samples can be tested at 0.1 or 1 percent adulteration levels, and results are available with 48 hours of sample receipt at Neogen's facility in Lincoln, Neb.
