The Computerway Food Systems Label Verification and Scanning System (LVS-1) is a stand-along inspection system designed to validate that the correct packaging or labeling is being utilized in an automated packaging operation. The LVS-1 utilizes scanners and electronic controls to read product bar codes on automated packaging lines and to validate that each item is correct. The system is completely mobile and is easily programmed for each type of packaging or label content. Any product that fails the LVS-1 validation test initiates audible and visual alarms while shutting down the conveyor.
