Avian influenza outbreak in Mongolia's Arkhangai Aimag

The birds died of H5N1 avian influenza infection.

Swans in the Ogii Nuur Lake in Arkhangai Aimag, Mongolia, died of an unknown cause on May 22, reported Mongolia’s Emergency Situation Agency on May 25.

After analysis, it was found the birds died of H5N1 avian influenza infection. The entire area has been closed.
