Bi Sponsored Logo 200pxConsumers, especially younger generations, are highly interested in the sustainability of their food choices. While the poultry and egg sectors already have the lowest impact on the environment of all animal production systems (8.4 percent of the total livestock sector), big data offers great opportunities to reduce the impact on our planet further. Probes, sensors, and other Internet of Things (IoT) devices installed on poultry farms allow for a finer data analysis, with early warning and even prediction of adverse events. In this exclusive webinar, Dr. Vincent Guyonnet, Managing Director of FFI Consulting Ltd., will share how artificial intelligence allows for maximizing production efficiency while contributing to better health and welfare of birds, thus playing a pivotal role in the sustainability of the poultry and egg sectors.

This webinar will broadcast at 7:00 AM CST (Chicago) / 1:00 PM GMT (London) / 9:00 PM CST (Beijing).

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  1. In the poultry and egg sector, the main contributors to Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are feeds and manure.
  2. Smart crop farming (e.g., drones for strategic use of fertilizers) and extensive data analysis allow nutritionists to formulate the least cost and least environmental impact poultry rations.
  3. Preventing mortality, reducing morbidity, and maximizing birds' gut health ensure that more chicken meat and eggs are produced per kilo of feed. This contributes to a lower GHG impact on the poultry value chains.

This webinar is sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim and presented by WATTPoultry.
