Automated Process Equipment hand-add micro scale

Automated Process Equipment offers a hand-add micro scale. The scale was developed for manufacturers currently weighing multiple ingredients. Three levels of the scale are offered: manual operation, semi-automatic and automatic. On the manual scale, the ingredient container sets on a rolling platform scale, which the operator positions beneath the desired ingredient bin and opens the discharge valve. The semi-automatic scale uses a vibratory feeder to meter ingredients from the bin into the container, also set on a rolling platform scale. The automatic option's scale rides on a powered rolling carriage and indexes to the proper position via batch control system signals.
