Novus awards outstanding individuals at 2016 PSA meeting

Each year, Novus recognizes two individuals for their outstanding scientific contributions to the poultry industry. Both awards affirm Novus's commitment to fostering future talent and ongoing scientific study. The Company recently honored the 2016 recipients of the Novus Outstanding Teaching and Outstanding Scholar awards during the Poultry Science Association (PSA) Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

Dr. Robert B. Beckstead of North Carolina State University was awarded the Outstanding Teaching Award, and Dr. Billy M. Hargis of the University of Arkansas was the recipient of the Outstanding Scholar Award, which was presented at the annual Novus PSA cocktail party.

Tamara Loeffler, North America Technical Services Manager – Monogastrics, presented the Novus Teaching Award at the PSA awards celebration, a $2,000 prize and an engraved glass award; and Dr. Robert Buresh, North America Technical Services Manager at Novus, presented the Outstanding Scholar engraved glass award.
