MHP Chairman Charles Adriaenssen resigns

Charles Adriaenssen has resigned as the chairman of Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP), the largest poultry producer in the Ukraine. Adriaenssen’s resignation is effective immediately.

Charles Adriaenssen has resigned as the chairman of Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP), the largest poultry producer in the Ukraine. Adriaenssen’s resignation is effective immediately.

Adriaenssen is stepping down after 10 years of service as the chairman of the company’s board of directors, as well as the chairman of the MHP nomination and remuneration committee.

“The board is thankful for Mr. Adriaenssen’s leadership, passion and contribution over the past 10 years as the company has continued to grow in the midst of challenging times,” Yuriy Kosyuk, MHP CEO, said in a press release. “We understand and support his decision to step down for family reasons and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Rich to serve as interim chairman

Dr. John Rich has been selected to succeed Adriaenssen on an interim basis. Rich has been a member of MHP’s board for ten years as a non-executive director and is presently the managing director of Australian Agricultural Nutrition and Consulting. In addition, he is a consulting agribusiness industry specialist for several financial institutions.

From 1990 to 2003, Rich was an executive director of Austasia Pty Ltd, an agri-business conglomerate which has operations in Australia, South East Asia and China, and from 1995 to 2002 was a director of AN-OSI Pty Ltd, a company that specialized in supply-chain management for feedlot beef, poultry and dairy operations in Asia and Europe.

MHP is searching for a permanent successor for Adriaenssen. Both internal and external candidates will be considered for the position.
