Two new videos aimed at farm managers, farm workers and production managers have been launched by Aviagen. The Managing Flock Uniformity and Biosecurity for Broiler Breeders videos have been produced for farm-based learning and offer hands-on, practical advice for broiler breeder flock management
The flock uniformity video was produced following regional requests from customers looking for help to train farm personnel. It is an umbrella video that covers the overall importance of improving uniformity in broiler breeder flocks with shorter, individual videos planned to be released over the next 12 months. The biosecurity video is a stand-alone management tool, highlighting the importance of good biosecurity. It covers areas such as rodent control, visitor protocols and farm location.
Both videos are now available to view on the Aviagen website.
