A Tyson Foods worker suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a tractor-trailer in a parking lot at a Tyson poultry plant in Henderson County, Kentucky.
The victim, identified as Glen L. Hawkins, was walking into work at the plant on the morning of April 15 when the accident occurred.
“We’re deeply saddened by this tragic accident and the loss of one of our team members,” a spokesman for the company said.
Tyson Foods is cooperating with investigators on the matter.
Accident Resulting in Death at Tyson Foods
Saturday morning, the Henderson County Sheriff's Office reported they were dispatched to Tyson Foods parking lot at 14660 US Hwy 41 South in reference to a semi-tractor accident resulting in the death of a pedestrian.
