Hy-Line International has new distributor in India

Hy-Line International has entered a new partnership with Srinivasa Hatcheries Group (SH Group) to distribute Hy-Line commercial layers throughout India.

Hy-Line International has entered a new partnership with Srinivasa Hatcheries Group (SH Group) to distribute Hy-Line commercial layers throughout India.

Beginning in August, SH Group will supply day-old chicks from its flagship company Srinivasa Farms in Hyderabad, India. Hy-Line Layers Private Ltd located in Tamil Nadu will continue to oversee the production and distribution of parent stock.

“We see the enormous potential of genetically superior Hy-Line layers to feed the growing population of India an inexpensive source of protein through a partnership with the SH Group,” said Jonathan Cade, president of Hy-Line International. “They have earned a reputation of being one of the best poultry breeding companies adopting international standards of quality, hygiene and efficiency.”

The company was founded by C. Jagapati Rao and Dr K. Somi Reddy and had a modest beginning of 6000 layer parents in 1978 through 1979 and has grown to a stage of 4,40,000 layer parent stock. SH Group is a highly accomplished business conglomerate with diverse commercial businesses and presence across multiple sectors such as Poultry Breeding, Poultry and Animal Feed, Realty and Food Retailing.
