Aviagen, a world leader in poultry genetics with Arbor Acres, Indian River, and Ross brands, and CBH International, a company specializing in the import and development of systems, equipment and spare parts for the poultry industry, hosted a historic dinner for Latin American customers in conjunction with the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta on January 28.
As a rare 2-3 inches of snow fell on Atlanta, the Aviagen and CBH dinner took place in the upper level of the Sun Dial Restaurant, a revolving restaurant in downtown Atlanta that features a 360 degree view of the city.
"With a spectacular view of the snow covered city of Atlanta from the 73rd floor, more than 200 guests and friends from all over Latin America enjoyed dinner and fellowship in an intimate and special atmosphere," said Ullrich Koehler, business manager of Aviagen America Latina. "We were very pleased with the participation of our customers, both distributors and direct customers, and enjoyed our special time with them while the snow fell so copiously on Atlanta."
Caroline Bakker Hofland, president of CBH International, added: "We are very proud of the presence of our clients, friends, and family at our annual dinner. It was an unforgettable night where we appreciate the efforts of everyone despite the city being paralyzed by the inclement weather. We appreciate the opportunity to deliver our services and look forward to this annual time with customers."
