Kanters welcomes two newcomers

Kanters has enhanced its team with a veterinarian and an animal scientist. Together they will be focusing on strengthening the scientific evidence behind the Kanters products and developing new products based on the latest insights and market demands.

Kanters has enhanced its team with a veterinarian and an animal scientist. Together they will be focusing on strengthening the scientific evidence behind the Kanters products and developing new products based on the latest insights and market demands.

Vera Bavinck will perform the task of Veterinary Support Manager, in which she will support the sales team. She will design and implement product training sessions for national and international customers.On farm level her veterinary support will focus on the use of Kanters products related to specific animal health issues.

Before finishing her MSc Veterinary Science in Utrecht 2009, she finalized the study of biology at the Vrije University in Amsterdam. She also passed the North American Veterinary License Exam.

In 2010 Bavinck began work in a mixed animal practice in North Queensland, Australia. After returning to the Netherlands in 2015, she worked as a locum in a variety of clinics before she participated in a project at the faculty of Veterinary Sciences in Utrecht at the department of Evidence Based Veterinary Medicine.

Verrijt has started her position as Product Manager Animal Health. To provide scientific support for the products of Kanters, Verrijt will focus on designing and executing experiments in both laboratory and field settings. She will closely follow the movement of scientific evidence and market development to improve products based on the most recent insights.

Verrijt finished her MSc Animal Science at the Wageningen University in 2015. She specialized in Adaptation Physiology of a variety of production animals. Before her study at Wageningen, she successfully finalized the study of biology and medical laboratory research at the Avans Hogeschool Breda were she specialized in microbiology and histology.
