Peco Foods, one of the nation’s largest poultry companies, announces Shannon Hendry as plant manager for the company’s Canton, Mississippi, facility. Responsible for the plant’s daily operations, Hendry will oversee all operations including the safe and efficient management of processing and storage.

Hendry possesses over 20 years of broad-based manufacturing experience as a proven operations manager with successful results. A resourceful leader, Hendry’s focus on quality, productivity and results is demonstrated through his previous experience at Pilgrims, Tyson Foods and McCarty Foods, Inc.
At Pilgrims, Hendry successfully led a $9 million plant expansion program that increased production and instituted standards resulting in a production efficiency increase of 20 percent. Responsible for a multi-product facility and warehouse distribution center for Tyson Foods, he successfully led a $26 million expansion program and implemented methods that increased productivity and improved safety. His experience at McCarty Foods helped refine problem-solving and team-building skills.
Hendry holds a bachelor of science degree with an emphasis in engineering from Mississippi State University.
