Rounding out the top 10 broiler companies in the U.S. is House of Raeford Farms Inc., with a production of 27.14 million pounds ready-to-cook weekly.

After two fires affected the company in 2017, construction on the plant in Teachey, North Carolina, began in 2018 and opened in the summer of 2018. House of Raeford announced in April 2019 that the facility is currently in its first phase of operation.

In July 2018, House of Raeford agreed to sell the cooked chicken plant in Mocksville, North Carolina, where the other fire broke out in December 2017, to the further processor Brakebush Brothers.
