Automated Process Equipment mistcoater liquid application

Automated Process Equipment offers mistcoater liquid application. The product to be coated enters the machine and falls on a rotating "dry disk," which the material falls off of in a cascading helical pattern, according to APEC. Simultaneously, the liquid is pumped onto spinning disks in the center of the product, then the liquid is atomized and applied to falling dry material. The mistcoater allows for multiple liquids to be applied through one inlet point and tack application of dry coatings. Two models are available: "T," which features a coating chamber with discharge chute, and "TMX," which offers a coating chamber with twin screw ribbon and paddle mixing conveyor.
