DuPont campylobacter detection

DuPont offers BAX Real-Time PCR assays for the detection of campylobacter. They detect and quantify Campylobacter jejuni, C. coli and C. lari in each sample. With less than 90 minutes processing time, results are reached the next day for enriched samples or on the same day for highly contaminated samples without enrichment. The company says that the test has been validated on poultry carcass rinses and ready-to-eat products, and sensitivity is as low as 104cfu/mL.
