Zoetis offers the Suvaxyn MH-One vaccine. The vaccine is approved for use from seven days of age with a two-week onsent, which means piglets can be protected by three weeks of age, and the duration of immunity extends beyond 176 days. The vaccine reduces lung lesions, even in the presence of maternally derived antibodies, and uses adjuvants carbopol and squalane. Piglets injected with Suvaxyn MH-One showed five kilograms extra weight over non-injected pigs, the company says.
