Eli Lilly and Co. has picked a new site in Greenfield, Indiana, USA, as the new headquarters for its animal health division, and said construction will begin in March 2009. The relocation was part of a larger move announced August 6 in which Lilly said it would sell its Greenfield Laboratories to Covance Inc., a New Jersey drug-services firm. Elanco has been housed on the Greenfield Labs campus. The new headquarters will be the first project in a new 52-acre life sciences park. Elanco employs more than 2,000 people worldwide with offices in more than 30 countries.
