Dennis G. Hatchell, president and chief operating officer of the diversified food company Alex Lee Inc., has been elected to the position of chairman-elect of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors.

Alex Lee Inc. comprises IFH, wholesale grocery distributor Merchants Distributors Inc., and Lowe’s Food Stores Inc. Alex Lee Inc. is also a member of the Food Marketing Institute and the Global Market Development Center.

Patrick Larmon, president and CEO of Bunzl Distribution USA Inc., has been elected secretary of association. Bunzl Distribution USA is also a member of the International Sanitary Supply Association and the NPTA Alliance (formerly the National Paper Trade Association).
