Anitec and Cobb Germany partnered to hold a seminar, focusing on breeder flock management, in Greece.
The event, attended by 130 people from the poultry breeding sector in Greece and Cyprus, featured speakers who provided information on the principles of good breeder flock management, breeder vaccination and current threats to breeder health. At the conclusion of the seminar, awards were presented for the best performing Cobb flocks for 2008 and 2009. Nikolaos Lalagiannis, production manager of Lalayiannis SA, and Ioannis Papadimitriou, farm owner of Koutsos-Tzotzas S.A. company, each received one-week holidays for two on a Greek island of their choice.
